About me
Hi, I'm Raven.
I learned from an early age how to listen, how to hold space, how to smooth things over—even when I was hurting too. In my big, complex family, love and loyalty ran deep, but so did silence and pain. I didn’t have the language for it then, but I could feel how much wasn’t being said.
That’s what led me here. I’ve always cared about what lives beneath the surface—how people carry their stories, their identities, their survival strategies.
Before becoming a therapist, worked as a community organizer in schools, helping families navigate real, messy relationships. And what I saw over and over again was how healing one person ripples outward. I value relationship and compassion above all else and center both in my practice and in my interactions with everyone around me.
I work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of issues from anxiety to family conflict and ground my practice in uncovering the impact of early relationships on how people perceive themselves and others around them. I am also deeply passionate about how culture and identity play a critical role in how we experience life and incorporate culture and racial identity in my work with clients. I utilize a relationship-focused approach along with tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices to help my clients live more peaceful and fulfilling lives.
